TekTegrity Technicians & Engineers
Each client is assigned to a Lead Technician who becomes intimate with your company’s individual situation and needs. Building personal relationships with customers is only one facet of our commitment to quality service and satisfaction.
Before hiring, each and every technician must clear an extensive background check and drug testing, and technicians dispatched to school districts have been fingerprinted and cleared with the Department of Justice. You'd be hard pressed to find another company using such thorough methods to protect your company's privacy and safety.
Ben Diringer, Senior Systems Engineer
![]()
Ben heads up the research and development for TekTegrity Total Systems Management and performs advanced technical support for many TekTegrity clients. He works comfortably on various platforms including Windows, Linux, Solaris 9 and Mac OSX. Unfortunately, the various languages he has experience programming in have not helped him translate or communicate while visiting 27 countries and 3 wonders of the world. He and his girlfriend have been trying to find the best Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in San Francisco, so if you have any recommendations shoot them on over!
Certifications: CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Security+ & CompTIA CSEP
Geoff Lillich, System Engineer
![]()
Geoff is Mr. Gadget. When he’s not doing IT projects he manages to find gadgets and gizmos to work on, take apart, put back together, fix…. and yes, break. He has nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry, starting with building custom machines, to running web server farms, and finally owning his own IT outsourcing company which he successfully ran for a number of years – until he got tired of managing the back office duties. Do you think Inspector Gadget had to deal with payroll? Didn’t think so. He then joined the team at Tektegrity as a Systems Engineer. Along the way he earned a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Materials Engineering. During his time at Poly, he was lucky enough to intern with NASA at Cape Canaveral where he roamed the launch towers and got to see shuttles up close and in person. In his spare time, when he is not messing around with gadgets, you may see him with his loyal friend – a Golden Retriever named Tate, AKA Tater-Tot. He also enjoys movie nights with his wife and at the end of a really long week he likes to go out to the target range to punch holes in paper. That’s Geoff in a nutshell. Let him take you to coffee to learn more… and hope its not a long week… and you’re not paper

Sergej Weinstein, Managed Systems Technician
Originally from Bern, Switzerland, Sergej began his formal computer training when he was fourteen years old: in high school, he completed four Advanced Placement Computer Science courses, specializing in C++ and Java. He then continued his training at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Also, if Sergej is on the streets, keep your grandparents indoors, as Sergej has been known to mug the elderly for their sweaters.

Joe Gomez, Managed Systems Technician
![]()
This die hard Cowboys fan also doubles as a Citrix engineer/Guru/Yoda. As the former Systems Administrator for a group of physicians in the exacting field of ophthalmology, Joe Gomez understands detail and precision. He also has a gift for finding solutions to unique problems with few resources and little information to work from (we think he would be a shoe-in for Survivor). These skills not only help him with his Yoda IT powers, they also come in handy in his dad’s garage, where the two share a love for rebuilding classic cars. Ask him about his latest project – a ’74 Buick Apollo.

Jonah Stepro, Managed Systems Technician
![]()
![]()
Jonah started touring as a songwriter, bass player and general eye candy with his band when he was 14 years old. Reality settled in and Jonah settled down at 18 and married the love of his life. Working in the customer service and technology industries for several years, Jonah is well rounded, both tech savvy and relatable. A true gem. When not at the office or being a human jungle gym for his two sons, Jonah sets time aside for his passion; building custom guitar pedals.

Oscar Mora, Maintenance Administrator
When you talk about backup services and bad jokes, Oscar is your man. As safe, secure storage of information becomes increasingly important, Oscar’ role as Dedicated Backup Technician is crucial to our business and to our clients. Oscar has also worked as an IT Manager in the auto and hotel industries, which gives him a broad spectrum of diversified skills and knowledge. This big teddy bear’s other skills he enjoys but only claims to have achieved mediocrity with are playing the guitar, playing soccer and, as mentioned earlier, telling jokes.
Certifications: CompTIA CSEP
Steve Boyd-Bucy, Site Technician
Steve is our man on the streets. If our clients need help on-site, Steve is there to answer the call! Always hungry to learn more, Steve is inches away from his AS in Computer Technology and Networking so he spends some of his free time taking classes and studying. A guilty pleasure he spends some of his other free time on is his addiction to games. He actually considers himself a “game junkie” – card games, board games, video games, online games – you name it. I guess overcoming denial is the first step.
Certifications: Certified Fiber Optic Technician (FOA), & CompTIA CSEP
Jason Spears, Managed Systems Technician
Jason is a 15 year Army veteran, very happily married and recent proud father. He is currently looking for a contractor to build his white picket fence. Jason has been a proud local to San Luis Obispo since the late '70s and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an MIS concentration at Cal Poly. When he has time away from work and changing diapers, this Eagle Scout loves to ride his motorcycle and play online games… where he admittedly gets schooled by 12 year olds.
Certifications: Dell Enterprise Architecture Server Technical Specialist
Nic Orrben, Managed Systems Technician
Nic was born on a small island off the coast of France where they insist they invented and speak “real” English. Since then he has lived in Florida, Texas, Kansas and Delaware. We’re not sure what they all have in common, but we are glad he wandered to San Luis Obispo seven years ago. Nic is a great problem solver which led him into programming (C++ and JAVA) in high school and later to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He works primarily with Windows based workstations and servers, configuring wireless APs and bridges as well as wired networking and routing. But back to the interesting stuff… Nic has travelled to Mexico, Positano on the Amalfi Coast, Costa Rica and Jamaica and he likes to hike, go bouldering, take photos, cook, grill and relax on the beach.
